Éva Tóth received her M.S degree in Environmental Engineering in 2010. The title of her degree thesis was ‘Changes in wastewater toxicity due to biodegradation’. She has been working in the Research Institute of Chemical Engineering from 2010. Initially she joined the Research Laboratory of Integrated Chemical and Biochemical Processes and Unit Operations, where first she made aflatoxin contaminated corn based fermentation processes, then she worked on removing H2S, a component of oil upstream production using impregnated activated carbon. After this she dealt with bioethanol production from agricultural waste materials. From September 2016 she has been working in the Bio-Nanosystems Laboratory. In her current research she focuses on producing various bacterial flagellin based, heavy-metallic binder proteins, and investigating the metal binding properties of these proteins.
